Proofreading
You have your content and you’re ready to go. There’s just one thing left to do: bring in a fresh pair of eyes to rectify any typos, font mismatches or errant punctuation.
Editing
A more in-depth look at your content, ensuring consistent style, coherent structure, appropriate tone of voice and grammatical correctness for maximum impact.
Adaptations
Launching your American product in the UK? Need your internal report pepped up into a press release? I’ll rework your ideas into compelling content for your new audience.
Editing non-native English
There’s a big difference between good writing and flawless, flowing content that commands attention.
Hidden meanings, differing phrasing, grammatical quirks and even punctuation must be adapted for maximum effect on a UK audience. When you put so much into building your customer base, make sure your content doesn’t let you down.
FAQs
How long will it take?
The short answer: it depends. Delivery times are often affected by my availability and creative or adaptation projects can take longer, even if the content itself is shorter. Providing reference material, glossaries, style guides or a contact for terminology questions (bonus points for this!) will speed things up and ensure consistency across your communications.
I’m not sure what I need. Can you help?
Of course. We can set a time to chat and I’d be happy to talk you through your options, from proofreading to in-depth editing, adaptation and starting from scratch. Even if you don’t have a specific need right now, get in touch so that I can advise you and make sure I’m free when you need me.
I don’t really like what I have. Can you use my ideas and start again?
Of course. I’ll be happy to take a look at your existing content and advise you on the options. We can look at editing, adaptation or writing from scratch, depending on what you need and what it’s for. Even if you don’t have a specific need right now, get in touch so that I can advise you and make sure I’m free when you need me.
When can I contact you?
I’m available on weekdays between 9am and 5pm (UK time). An additional charge may apply for projects outside of these hours. I aim to respond to emails within 24 hours on working days. If I’m away or unavailable, I always set up an automatic response so you know when to expect a reply.

All project fees include:
A surcharge may be applied if your material isn’t in an editable format (e.g. PDF, JPG) or if the project requires evening or weekend work.
